July, 2010 – College student wins Gold Standard award
Principal Tim Matthew presents Ms Hanna Khadasevich, from Belarus, with a Gold Standard Award from the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) after achieving the highest distinction grade in the Facilities and Accommodation Management module of the Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management course.
July, 2010 - College student wins High Achiever award
Principal Tim Matthew presents Ms Shruti Yeduguri with a certificate from NCC Education for Regional High Achiever - International Advanced Diploma in Business.

July, 2009 - Oxford House College students attend a University of Sunderland graduation ceremony.
Held at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. In total, 48 of the College's students graduated this summer, including students from New Zealand, India, South Africa, Iran, Trinidad, Nepal, China, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Croatia, Pakistan, Angola, Turkey, Thailand, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Algeria and Guinea.
South African compatriots Mrs Suenette Hoon and Ms Adelaide Sales (pictured above at the graduation ceremony) each graduated with a BA Honours degree in Business Management. August, 2009 - Lívia Viana, from Brazil, shares her experience of studying at Oxford House College on the British Council, Brazil website.
Lívia, a student of Civil Engineering from Brasília, is currently featured on the British Council, Brazil website where she recounts her study trip to the UK last winter.
Lívia won a 2-week trip after taking part in Brazil’s Campanha de Atualização Cadastral campaign. Her entry was chosen from 5,000 received during the campaign.
As part of her prize, Oxford House College offered Lívia a 2-week English Language course, and also accommodation in the College’s Student Hostel (during her first week) and in a host family (during the second).

 July, 2008 - College students attend Graduation Ceremony
Oxford House College students at the University of Sunderland graduation ceremony, held at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. In total, 34 of the College's students graduated during the ceremony. Among these were Ms Megan Gray, from South Africa (pictured above) and Mr Nana Kwasi Agyekun Budu, from Ghana (also pictured). Both students graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in International Tourism & Hospitality Management.
April, 2008 – College student wins High Achiever award
College lecturer Joanna Rutkowska presents Mr Morteza Mollanaghi
with a certificate and prize from NCC Education for Regional High
Achiever - International Diploma in Business.
Morteza, who comes from Iran, has joined the growing number of
College students whose academic achievements have been recognised,

Amirpasha, who comes from Iran, completed his Advanced Diploma
course in 2007 and is now studying the final year of the BA (Hons)
degree course in Business Management at the College.

Oxford House College alumnus wins Global High Achiever award
February, 2008 - Mr Slimane Kerrouchia (Algeria) is pictured above
with a Global High Achiever 2007 award, presented to him by NCC
Education. Slimane won the award following outstanding results
in NCC Education's International Foundation Year course, which
Slimane studied at Oxford House College. The International Foundation
Year qualification provides students with fast access to a university
degree programme in the UK.
Slimane is currently studying for his
BSc in Civil Engineering at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen,
Scotland.
Oxford House College at the International Student Festival, Covent
Garden, London
July, 2007 - the International Student Festival gives students an
opportunity to meet colleges and universities from all over the
UK, and to receive accommodation and visa advice. The Festival is
open to prospective students from around the world who wish to receive
advice and information about studying in the UK.
Oxford House College staff Joanna Rutkowska, Monica Rejas and
Lucia Kvoriakova were delighted to meet and talk to prospective
students about the wide-ranging study options available at the

Two Oxford House College students won High Achiever Awards
May, 2007 - Oxford House College students Mr Manoj Kanuga, from
India (for International Diploma in Business Studies) and Miss Nisrine
Benyadine,from Morocco (for International Advanced Diploma in Business
Studies) received NCC Education awards for "Best Results in the
UK".

Manoj gained his Regional High Achiever award after securing excellent
results in the International Diploma in Business Studies.Manoj also
received a £300 International Advanced Diploma scholarship from
NCC Education.He is planning to complete his Advanced Diploma in
September 2007
The pictured left Nisrine receiving her recognition plaque

Nisrine gained her Regional High Achiever award after securing
excellent results in the International Advanced Diploma in Business.She
also received a £300 Undergraduate degree final year scholarship
from NCC Education.She is planning to complete her BA (Hons) in
Business Management in September 2007 Nisrine had previously also
won the "Best Results in the UK" for her Diploma level in September
2006 as well.

April, 2007 - the winners of this year's English Writing Competition
for high school students, Mr Pangus Ho and Miss Feliana Citradewi
are photographed at the Awards Ceremony in Jakarta.
The competition was organised by the Cansius English Forum, Jakarta
and supported by The British Council, Indonesia.
