I’ve studied at Oxford House College in London
as well as Oxford. I chose the college because of its
great location and affordable prices.
I love music and my main reason for learning English
is so I can understand the lyrics better.
The teachers are great. Sean makes his classes enjoyable
and Matt’s classes are always great fun. I find
I learn faster when the classes are enjoyable.
I like chatting and meeting friends in the coffee bar.
You can also make lots of friends on the social programme.
The boat party was brilliant – different types of
music to dance to and some nice scenery. Sometimes I just
like to go to the college’s local pub on a Friday
where many of the students go. One of my favourite things
when I’m not studying is relaxing in one of the
many beautiful London parks.
The college arranged for me to stay with a host family.
The family were very welcoming and kind, helping me to
settle in quickly to the English way of life. I especially
like the British sense of humour which is unique but very
funny.
I would definitely recommend Oxford House College to
my friends.
